Stop and Smell the Roses!

I feel like my life is so busy. Like I am constantly being pulled in a million directions all at once! 

I'm reminding of the saying "Stop and smell the roses" and I thought to myself stop and see what is important. 

Although I Love Kids ministry, I love my God and family more! When my life has gotten into a busy spin I don't stop and think of what's important I think I need to get everything done now,now, now. Which in the end causes issues.. Because what is important to me suffers.

Thankful for the moment I stopped to smell the roses and realized how to get my priorities in check! 

If I were an Octopus

If I were an octopus I could do so many things! 

I could type up all my lessons and answer the phone when it rings.

I would be able to clean all the dishes real fast,

And maybe get all the laundry folded at last.

If I were an octopus life would be so great,

It would help me be on time and never to be late.

You see I have come to realize I just can't do it all.

It's ok to make mistakes and even fall.

God made me who I am because he knew exactly what I need..

All the traits he gave me help me as I lead.

Being an octopus would be great and so much could be done..

But life would be way to easy.. Now that is no fun!
